ゼチーア（Zetia）とは？

ゼチーアは、食事から体内に吸収されるコレステロールまたはその他のステロールを低下させる働きがあります。

ゼチーアは、低脂肪および低コレステロールの食事療法と合わせて、高コレステロールの治療に使われます。その他のコレステロール降下薬と一緒に使われることもあり、また食事療法と合わせて、血中高シトステロールやカンペステロールの治療に使われることもあります。

またゼチーアは、ここに記載された目的以外にも利用されています。

What is Zetia?

Generic Zetia reduces the amount of cholesterol or other sterols that your body absorbs from your diet.

Zetia is used to treat high cholesterol, along with a low-fat, low-cholesterol diet. It is sometimes given with other cholesterol-lowering medications. It is also used to treat high blood sitosterol and campesterol along with diet therapy.

Zetia may also be used for other purposes not listed in this medication guide.
